Designed to speed across the desert, Baja racing-style, the second-generation F-150 made its debut for the 2017 model year with an impressive list of off-road hardware and more horsepower from a downsized, twin-turbocharged V6 engine. It weighed about 500 pounds less than its predecessor thanks in part to the widespread use of aluminum. Power for this Raptor comes from a turbocharged 3.5-liter “EcoBoost” V6, which produces 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque.
